Holy Sepulcher Church
Ground was broken for the new church on May 23, 2004. The church was formally dedicated on July 31, 2005. In addition to the worship space, there is office space, a conference room and a meeting room.
Pre-School Building
The Pre-School Building is over 135 years old. It has been a farmhouse, a convent and now after several additions a Pre-School facility.
Youth and Young Adult Center (Former Holy Sepulcher Church)
The first Mass within the former Holy Sepulcher Parish was celebrated on Christmas Day, 1944. As the community grew, a suitable site for a church was found. Excavating, and grading began in December of 1945. The church building was formally blessed Sunday, November 24, 1946. After a new church was built, this first church became a hall, a small kitchen, a stage and offices.
Holy Sepulcher Rectory
The rectory was built in 1960. It is a 5 bedroom, 5 1/2 bathroom home with a three car garage.
School Building
In April 1956 ground was broken and the first phase of Holy Sepulcher School was completed and dedicated on May 7, 1960 by Bishop John J. Wright. By 1964, additional classrooms and offices were added, completing the 9 classroom building.
Bish House and Property
The Bish house and property was purchased in 2016 and added two acres of adjoining land to our campus.
Rectory
The present rectory was completed in 1954. It contains a living room dining room and kitchen as well as an office, four bedrooms, 2.5 baths, two wood burning fireplaces, a finished basement and an integral garage.
The Food Pantry (the Former Saint Kilian Church)
This former church building was built in the late 1800’s as a Free Methodist Church. In early 1920, the Catholic community of Mars sought to purchase the abandoned Free Methodist Church. After fundraising, the purchase was completed for $900.00. After significant work on the church interior, Bishop Regis Canevin dedicated the church for Catholic worship on December 5, 1920. When the new Saint Kilian Church was dedicated, by decree of the Diocesan Bishop, the Mars church was removed from use for public worship and reduced to appropriate “secular: use. It contains ample storage and a large area for shelving for non-perishable food for community distribution each week.
Fellowship Hall
Parish records indicate that the construction of the parish hall, begun by Fr. Seibel, was completed by Fr. Shaughessy in 1949. It contains a sizable kitchen, a hall that can accommodate nearly 100 people as well as two offices. It underwent a significant renovation in the past few years.
Parish Administrative and Education Center (School Building)
The first building to be built by Saint Kilian Parish in Cranberry Township was dedicated on December 8, 2010. It contains a chapel and gymnasium, a cafeteria and kitchen, a Pre-School classroom, 24 home rooms (K-8) as well as classrooms for special subjects, a library and meeting rooms as well as office for the Parish and Catholic school.
Field Center and Maintenance Building
Adjacent to the soccer field there is a substantial building containing lavatories, a concessions area (with water and refrigeration) as well as storage for sports equipment. On the lower level, there is storage for maintenance equipment and vehicles.
Saint Kilian Church
The 1,000-seat church was dedicated on September 25, 2016. In addition to the worship space, the lower level contains two large meeting rooms, two offices, a substantial hall, and a full kitchen.
Saint Kilian Rectory
The rectory dates from the early 1960’s. It as well as adjacent land was purchased as plans for the first building began. The rectory was completely renovated by volunteer labor. It contains a living room, dining room and kitchen, three bedrooms and three baths as well as a two car integral garage.
