Basketball

Little Dribblers is for grades K-2 (Co-ed)
Instructional is for grades 3 and 4 (Co-ed)
JV Team is for grades 5 and 6 (Girls and Boys Team)
Varsity Team is for grades 7 and 8 (Girls and Boys Team)

Little Dribblers starts at the beginning of January and ends March 1.
Instructional, JV, and Varsity starts in November and ends in February.

Little Dribblers focuses mainly learning the game at basketball, dribbling, and passing and will meet once a week for practice.
Instructional practices 1-2 times a week with games throughout the season, scheduled at the end of October.
JV & Varsity practices 2-3 times a week with games set by the diocese.

Hornets Girls Basketball & Hornets Boys Basketball is open to all HSCS Students grades K-8. Hornets basketball aims to teach basketball fundamentals, focusing on the development of the team as well as the individual skills, while competing as a Christian. The number one priority is for the student-athlete to have fun as they compete, develop as a player and individual and contribute to the team.
